Cheer Coach


Coach Williamson is a proud Katy ISD graduate and continued her education to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University – Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2005, WHOOP! In the Fall of 2020, she will begin her 15th year of coaching cheer in Katy ISD. She coached for 7 years at the Jr. High level (Morton Ranch and Cinco Ranch), 3 years as the Jr. Varsity coach at Cinco Ranch High School, and finished her 4th year as a the Cinco Ranch High School Varsity coach in the Spring of 2020. She has coached her team at a competitive level and brought home many 1st place wins in the Game Day Division and in January of 2020 she coached her team to a UIL 6A Division 1 Spirit State Championship. She is a Universal Cheerleader Association (UCA) certified coach, American Association of Cheerleading Coaches & Administrators (AACCA) Safety Certified, and a National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) certified judge. As a coach, her goal is to develop respectful, confident, and responsible young adults through the sport of cheerleading, preparing them for the life after high school. By setting high standards and expectations, she strives to teach the valuable life lessons of integrity, discipline, determination, dedication, and accountability. She is dedicated to taking all athletes, from different backgrounds and skill levels, and building champions in out of the classroom while representing Jordan High School with SPIRIT and PRIDE! She is excited to begin her new journey as a Warrior and help build a school culture where students, parents, and community members are proud to wear black and gold and cheer loud for the Warriors! When Coach Williamson is not teaching or coaching, you can find her spending quality time with her husband Chad, 7-year-old son Connor, and 3-year-old daughter Lanna.
