Christopher (Scott) Slay

Head Swim Coach

Coach Slay has been a high school swimming and water polo coach for 17 years and most recently was at Richmond Foster High School. Coach Slay has won 10 district swimming championships, 8 district Swimming Coach of the year awards, 5 region Coach of the Year Awards and has guided teams to 6 region swimming championships. Over the years, Coach Slay has trained many all state swimmers and relays. Additionally, as a water polo coach, Coach Slay earned 7 Water Polo Coach of the Year Awards and 7 State Water Polo Championships, with the most recent being in 2019 at Foster. With Water Polo becoming the next UIL sport in the fall of 2021, we look forward to Jordan High School becoming a state power in the sport. Coach Slay resides in Katy with his wife Laura and two kids Ava and Baylor.
